About your instructor
I am a trainee driving instructor with the guidance of the AA. I’ve been behind the wheel for the best part of 40 years — cars, bikes, and the kind of miles that teach you calm under pressure. A former police response driver with a full motorbike licence, you get someone who knows the road, and still remembers what it feels like to learn.
Lesson structure
No one-size-fits-all lessons. I adapt the teaching style to how you prefer to learn — whether you need a patient step-by-step build, clearer explanations, or more time to practise until it clicks. The goal is simple: help you feel confident, safe, and ready for the test.
